Hi

 I just upgraded a site from 5.6.8 to 6.0.2

After the upgrade it works but it' very slow. Logging in is slow, switching pages is slow. Basically it works

but I can't give my client a slower site after an upgrade.

I am wondering if it's just a config issue somewhere?

Can anyone suggest anything?   It's IIS7 on a Win 2008 server with SQL server 2012 RC.

Gus

It may not be your problem but yes 6.02.01 has some fixes related to speed (db calls or something) .

Also do you have any 3rd party modules that are not compatible with DNN 6 ?

Hi Angus,

I would also take a look to make sure that the client dependency framework is enabled for your installation.  This can have a positive impact on performance for the 6.x line.

Hope this helps!

Brandon
