Well, no luck fixing this issue so far, I'm on a new workstation with a fresh install of Win7 pro (hence the delay getting back to follow this up) and same version of Firefox and still get the same behaviour. Maybe something got messed up during the install process? Also, it seems to just be this 1 site.

does the issue also show up on an edit page with default skin and container applied?

Ok, Just did a fresh install with default skin on a new site and get the same behavior so I guess the answer is yes, even with default skin the issue occurs. I think its a new thing since i started using 6.2.3

this seems like an issue of Telerik RAD Editor, you may try CkEditor instead (download for free from dnnckeditor.codeplex.com)
