Awesome! Thanks Richard.

This is a new and clean install of DNN 7. Any idea why I didn't have this job in the first place?

Hi Richard, I implemented the scheduling event and it worked great. Thanks so much for taking the time to provide the details.

A word to the wise about the unintended consequences though. I though that it would start working from this point on... Instead it was like a dam burst and I just sent out 71 email notifications to my site Steering Committee. LOL No problem. I am not sure what I could have done to clear the queue first but it is totally Ok with me.

The good news is that everybody now knows that it is working fine. :)

Thanks again for your time and detail.

Mike

Yeah, mine did the exact same thing; as soon as I got it working all the emails started flowing.  I don't know why your scheduler wasn't configured.  I had my ISP do my installation so it might have been something they needed to configure when they turned on my SMTP Relay.  Glad it's working for you.
