in this case, I'd assume, you did not configure IIS website correctly, make sure to enable anonymous and forms authentication and include default.aspx as default document.

Hi Sebastian,

The website folder is located in inetpub\wwwroot\ For folder permissions I have IIS_IUSRS with Full Control, a user called media-etc.co.za which is the website in IIS and a SQL account with Full Control. Users doesn't have Full Control or Modify permissions. I basically followed the DNN install video settings.

 IIS App Pool Settings:

 SQL:

In SQL I created the media-etc.co.za DB. In Permissions for the DB IIS APPPOOL\media-etc.co.za is a User. For Security I added a user called IIS APPPOOL\media-etc.co.za who is dbo

Is there something I haven't done that isn't allowing the installer to set up the Super User account?

you shouldn't place your website in a folder inside inetpub/wwwroot, this will inherit web.config settings from parent folder. create a custom folder, e.g. /inetpub/mywebsite
