Hi Rob,

so it is a hosted site, I can check all settings in the WebsitePanel application, if you want, no changes will be done.

The installations of DNN are not turned up, Rob.  I personaly working with DNN since 2003 and be on Module Teams since 2005.  Of course I have also some issues, as I started with, but I learned many, and pointed to the core team in 2007 about my contribution of DNN.

Well if the hosters not familar with it, they don't like any applications ;-).  Some of the modules also can be used high abillity of resources, that is a point most hosters don't like installing modules.

Bug fixes with high priority as it is for the Login module would not delayed!  I noticed in some conditions that on upgrades fires issues is that many people forget to unlook the downloaded file.  Windows have this as an security feature added, that files downloaded from the internet have to be unlocked before you can extract them.

If you using hosting download your DNN files with your ftp client to a new folder to check the file versions on your system.

Related to all this - how come when I have my site to "private Registration" - users have access to registering on their own?  (ie:  The Register Button is still available on the form?)

there is a known issue granting permissions to unauthenticated users in DNN 7.1.0, please upgrade to 7.1.1 (or 7.1.2 when available).
