How about this:
Change the names of the pages back to what they were
Make new pages and add the modules and settings to the new pages from the old ones
Include the new pages in the menu
If everything works, delete the old pages

Well that was interesting, but made matters WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, instead of only one sub-page under the main menu option being unaccessable ALL sub-pages under that main page are now unaccessible!!!!!!!!!!
