I just followed Bruce's instructions but I was using Verified Registration and I still want to use that kind of registration.

I don't want newly registered users to be added up to the Users Database, without first verifying their email address.

Can you advise us how to use Verified Registration with the admin created Registration page?

I have a similar problem.

The link you are referencing does not work. Can you provide us with a new one?

I followed Bruce's recommendations - http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/replacing-registration-page-with-custom-and-blocking-the-default-register-page - creating a Admin created page but that method does not uses a Verified Registration that I want.

I'll leave that method to work [ newly created Site-Registration page ] will I see if I'll receive spamming registrations.

For the last 8 hours, apart from one case, after following Bruce's way I had not spammers.

I tried this with an old version (4.9.0) and it did not work. I could still access the default registration page. I even tried it with adding .aspx at the end of the "register" as 4.9.0 still used that kind of url. I could still access that default registration. Does this method even work with older versions? *I can't upgrade the installation.

I am also using Dynamic Registration by Data Springs and I am experiencing the problem where I am getting spammed and bot-generated user accounts. I will turn off the core DNN registration and solely rely on Data Springs Dynamic Registration.
