I have been experiencing similar issues with 3.2.2 - What we really need (maybe it exisits, but i just can't find it) is a core documentation group to write basic documentation on the core modules.  I often spend hours trying to figure out badic stuff because so much of DNN doems not seem to be documented.

Well even though I've been at this for quite a while now, I'm somewhat new to open-source but have looked at a lot of stuff and I think it's common... However just as I see the 3rd party market for skins, modules, etc... possibly someone will take it on in more depth... But you're right, I've spent a lot of hours solving small problems ... although there is something rather gratifying about actually solving the problem after such an effort.

I must be missing the same trick because I can't get anything to send responses, emails, newsletters or copy of feedback to sender.

I am also having the same problem with DNN 4.0.3.

Any luck anyone?

Cheers

Before you were able to put in your own From address the e-mail was sent from the Administrator for the Portal.

Some of the Release Candidates (3.3.0 & 4.3.0 I believe) had a problem sending newsletter e-mail in async mode. If you change to synchronous (in the advanced section of the newsletter page) it should work.
