Hi,

Our website is experiencing an issue whereby some popups aren't closing.  It's mostly happening with the login popup.  When the user clicks login, they are logged in but the login popup doesn't close and the page is loaded inside the popup.

I've realised that this is only happening when the user logs in from a non-secure http page.  If the user logs in from a secure https page then the popup closes correctly.

After the user logs in they are redirected to a secure membership page.  Is the redirect from a http to a https page after login causing the problem?  If so then how can I fix it without setting all pages to https?

 Thanks for your time

Jay

Thanks for the quick reply.

We're running DNN 7.02.02

I can confirm that the same thing happens with the Gravity skin.  I created a new non-secure page and applied the Gravity skin to it, tried logging in from that page, the login popup didn't close and the membership page loaded inside of the login popup.  I then secured the page and tried logging in again from it, this time the log popup did close as normal and I was redirected to the membership page.

I know I can secure every page on the site to get around this but with a few hundred pages it could take some time (unless I can run a SQL script on the database?).

Any other ideas?

if you are using SSL this might be a reason (as I haven't seen it locally.
However, DNN 7.2.2 suffered from som Telerik issues as well, maybe you should try upgrading to 7.3.4.

Sounds like a good place to start.  Thanks for the advice.  I'll update this post afterwards with results.
