my search results are showing pages which have been deleted (and removed from trash).

How can I remove from search?

I have re-indexed content, but it still shows old pages that no longer exist.

Do I need to do something like this >
http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/13... to clear the search index?

What version of DNN are you on? Search was newly done in DNN in 7.1 and works differently (fore re-index)

Mark,
Search index is now (7.1.1+) stored in /app_data/search. Delete Content of the Folder and re-index your site

I have deleted content from that folder and re-indexed (I think old pages are no longer showing, but we're still having problems with our results - they only direct people to the home page and not the actual internal page.

Not sure if it matters but we are working off a local server and not published to the web yet (so running off local IP).
