which DNN version are you using? I am not aware of such an issue in latest versions (7.3.x and 7.4.0)

I am not sure which DNN version I am using. I don't see how I can look that up?

It looks like there are multiple modules with different versions for each. It looks like most are 7.1 and 7.3.3.

you should find DNN version at the top of Host Settings, most likely you are using 7.3.3 or 7.3.4.
It must be an issue of the editor, I suggest installing CKeditor (https://dnnckeditor.codeplex.com)
