maybe you should ask at NB Store, if they have a clue - I haven't heard about this issue before.

As I said I did the combination NB STORE, DNN and TIDY before without problems, same versions 2.3, 7.3 and 1.1. Can you perhaps concur that it could be possible as in most likely that someone, with advanced knowledge of DNN core, has concocted customized DNN files and somehow knows or cracked my FTP account, replaced some files on the webserver.

I made HOME page a private page, because I do not want HOME but GALLERY as page name, and if I recall correctly one cannot change the name HOME for the root domain URL, I hoped I could get GALLERY for root domain (www.hollandart.gallery), because Google Adwords only accepts root domain URLs as landing page directly other URLs take a couple of days or weeks to get permission,  but I did not get that far, I discovered the mentioned problems.

http://www.hollandart.gallery/gallery  is still functional so there is no double root domain pages conflict.

Do you think making HOME a private page caused the problems?

You may change the name of Home using the language editor in Admin > Languages (using pen in language row, column Static resources > Website).
You should not hide Home page, as it is the default landing page.
