Hello.

I am trying to add the Twitter widget to my website and I'm running into an issue.  I add the following widget code from Twitter:

<a class="twitter-timeline" href="https://twitter.com/ZetronInc" data-widget-id="734862002909151232">Tweets by @ZetronInc</a>
<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+"://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script>

I add this using "Basic Text Box", and I have added it to the header under module settings under Advanced Module Settings.  Instead of the pretty scrolling Twitter feed, I get "Tweets by @ZetronInc".

I am assuming this not-working-the-way-it's-supposed-to issue has something to do with JavaScript.  Can anyone confirm that?  Some of the support modules I've seen out there to incorporate Twitter feeds only work on DNN installs of 7.2 or higher.

Thanks!

The "pretty scrolling" probably is controlled by something other than the the Twitter widget -- possibly a rotator and some CSS.

From exactly where did you get this widget?

The widget was created from our corporate Twitter account.  I followed the instructions posted in this video:

Figured it out...I think.  It's working with every browser EXCEPT Firefox.  Since Firefox is where I do the lion's share of my editing, it's baffling to me.  I still think it's a JavaScript/Firefox issue, but I can't confirm.  Has anyone else come across something like this?

Just a quick thought... There's no reason I can really think of for why those shouldn't work other than js getting filtered out. In the past, I've just had to disable the javascript filter in the textbox settings, paste the code in there, then re-enable script filtering... and it's always worked fine.
