I reported an issue on the way the password for the payment processor credentials are stored in the database, they are stored in plain text. Look here https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/browse/DNN-8593. The answer was by somebody from DNN Corp "This is planned to be removed from the product core. We are no longer going to be adding any enhancements." This will mean that this part of the core will probably be added as an open source module just like some other modules like Newsletters and Sitelog.

Hey thanks for the info. I appreciate and agree with you on the payment processor password concerns but it's not an issue for the PayPal IPN. I leave that field blank anyhow. I would think you could encrypt the data in the DB in a future upate to address that.

Not to be too hard headed, but would someone from DNN mind confirming on this forum the deprecation plans for the Managed Services and it's integration with the PayPal IPN?

Will there be a graceful hand off of the functionality to an open source GitHub spawned project?

Lastly....

Is anyone using it? I'd like to hear of a success story if someone has one.
