Hi,
it generally works; however, this solution sends a lot of other fields together with the form field itself, ilcuding the search and fields such as:
input type="hidden" name="__EVENTTARGET" id="__EVENTTARGET" value="" /
input type="hidden" name="__EVENTARGUMENT" id="__EVENTARGUMENT" value="" /
input type="hidden" name="__LASTFOCUS" id="__LASTFOCUS" value="" /
input type="hidden" name="__VIEWSTATE" id="__VIEWSTATE"

In particular viewstate is a large field and it screws up the receiving end (e,g. Salesforce servlets).

Is there a way to confine the sent fields to the custom form only?

if the state of a control is not needed, the developer may exclude it from being included in viewstate.

Hi Sebastian,

that's what I did. With simple js instructions such as

document.getElementById("__VIEWSTATE").name = ""

I managed to have a perfect set of form fields to be sent to Salesforce. However, they invariably returned "ignore-captcha: Ignoring captcha since redirect timed out"
It worked instead with using an iframe, embedding the form in an iframe.

A potential explanation is here: https://developer.salesforce.com/foru...

To this date I still don't know what causes that error and I am sure my TLS is at least 1.2 (Windows Server 2016 with IIS10 and .Net 4.7.2). Any idea welcome, I do not like using an iframe for this :(

The day DNN will get rid of webforms will be worth celebrating till dropping on the floor.

Best regards,
Franco
