Ok, I just found where that e-mail address is stored.  It's in the HostSettings table and I was able to update it directly.  Strange that there's no host setting page anymore in 9 to change the settings in this table (or they are there, but just buried away as well).  I'm currently logged in as host and can't find it anywhere.

Portal email address is the email address of the user, who is specified as site admin in site settings.

That's what I thought at first, but when I went through the user profile edit when logged in as host, it would update the e-mail in the Users table for the host user, but it wouldn't change the e-mail displayed in the terms of use or privacy statement.  When I checked the HostSettings table and updated the "HostEmail" property there, it would then update the e-mail in the statements.

True, when you originally set up the DNN instance using the install wizard, it copies the host e-mail to the HostSettings, but when you update the host e-mail through the user profile page, it won't update the HostSettings table.  At least, it didn't for me.

there is a host email in host settings for portal management - adding or deleting a website.
there is a site admin selected in site settings, whose email is used as sender for user management (except superusers, AFAIR)

Perhaps I'm just not seeing the host management console/page?  When I login using the host account, my left menu options are:

CONTENT
Pages
Recycle Bin

MANAGE
Users
Roles
Site Assets
Global Assets
Themes
Sites
Admin Logs

SETTINGS
Site Settings
Security
S E O
Vocabularies
Extensions
Servers
Import / Export
Scheduler
Custom CSS
SQL Console
Config Manager
About

I thought "MANAGE:Sites" would be the new "portals" page, but it just lists the sites and when I click the gear for settings, it redirects to "SETTINGS:Site Settings". Am I missing an option?  If so, what would be the URL for the host/portal setting page?  Perhaps I can hit it manually?
Thanks,
Kevin
