I agree with everything Armin has said, and the sentiment behind it.

In my opinion, DNN have lost the plot when it comes to community, and they don't realize the benefits that Armin speaks of. If they did, they would behave differently. These kind of discussions that arise regularly in the community are the warning signs which are consistently being ignored. DNN inaction is killing the eco-system and building resentment.

If DNN recognized the value of a strong community underpinning their commercial products, they would assign someone, at some times, to answer a few question - even if it's the easy ones.

The fact that this very website has broken elements, (try using the top menus in Firefox), and poor design despite being pointed out numerous times indicates a dysfunctional approach. It's ridiculous that a CMS company cannot be bothered to fix their own website that promotes their CMS! This reveals aspects of the culture in the company.

I apologize for not having around for some time due to other affairs.
These forums are - and have always been - monitored by DNN community and only accidently by DNN Corp members.
DNN Corp. is focusing on their Evoq products and we should be fine with it.
They also provide the infrastructure for the community to provide support etc., which is generous and great.

Please be aware that responsibility for DNN Platform and its releases has recently been handed over to the community and we (the TAG team and other teams, feel free to join) are working hard to prepare DNN 9.2.1, an improved release plan and much more. May we please ask you for some patience, thank you! And if you are willing to contribute you are welcome - just send me a personal note or contact Clinton.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
