After further analysis, I have come to the conclusion it's somehow tied into roles and membership. Here's why I say this. And here's where the waters get muddy.

I am using Onyaktech's Sigma Pro Draconis 5.28. I am experiencing the problem as follows:

When logged into the portal in question as HOST I am able to work successfully with the features of the Draconis module without issue. However, if I log into the portal as a 'Registered User' then I get the WebForm... is undefined problem. If I turn on allow anonymous users for this module, everything works fine. The author of Draconis says it's a DNN Core problem. I don't know who to believe or how to proceed, and I am getting my @$$ kicked at work now because of this.

I suspect this problem is tied to the webresource.axd problem people have been posting about ad-nauseum. I tried using fiddler to diagnose problems on the client browswer, and didn't see anything (or didn't know what I was looking for).

Please help or advise. I don't know what to do. I'm losing face and my superior's are not happy.

Darryll

Try making sure that .axd files are mapped to asp.net.

I pasted the instructions from MS in this thread:

I have the same problem.  I've developed a simple contact form module which works when I'm logged in as host but not when I'm logged out.

The issue seems to be that the reference to WebResource.axd is not generated when I'm not logged in.  If I view the source when logged in as host this line is in the code:

<script src="/JupiterDNN/WebResource.axd?d=qLlA_j6eH5fCfycFM8jC8A2&amp;t=632884637402453583" type="text/javascript"></script>

But it doesn't appear when I'm not logged in.

Anybody know why not?

Thanks,

Rob.

When you are using fiddler, look for the entry that is calling webresource.axd and see what it says in the log.  Also, look for any entries that appear in red as I believe those ones have problems.  Dump some of the relative logs here and we'll see if someone can figure it out.
