Thank you, thank you, thank you!  I checked my File Manager settings - lo and behold! - the "Secured Files" settings were totally blanked out.  I activated the flags for my registered users, updated and then synched my files and "viola" they are accessible again.  Who wudda thunk it?

It is a shame that some of these little tidbits are not placed in a readme file in with the new version download - it could save users lots of time, wrinkles and blood pressure medication!  It does seem as if a checklist could be generated - oh well - til next time.

Here is an interesting tid-bit.  I have been racking my brain and hitting the search engine on this all morning.  I am on an especially short timeline to fix this.  I just upgraded our main site this morning from v4.0.2 to v4.3.5.

I can see all of my files in the File Manager if I am using Internet Explorer, but until the last few minutes I was using Firefox (my browser of choice).  Firefox is still not showing any files in the File Manager!  However, I still cannot see any of the files in the Documents Modules - even if I set the permissions to allow "All Users" to view.  The only way those are visible is if I am logged on as an Administrator.

Has anyone figured that one out???

Here are some links that might help some of you (and others in the future).

This is my post trying to figure out the breaking change - I mean upgraded Documents Module.

This is another post where the Documents Module in particular is being discussed:

I hope this helps.  (How come there isn't a smillee face that appear utterly exhausted?)
