I've created a new skin and container, but when I try to select the new skin in the Site Settings I get the following error:

Could Not Load Skin: /Portals/2/Skins/DNN-PatientHelp/PatientHelp - Vertical Menu.ascx Error: Access to the path 'C:\prj\ElPaso\ElPaso.Portal\Website\Portals\2\Skins\DNN-PatientHelp\PatientHelp - Vertical Menu.ascx' is denied.

What am I missing here?

You should check if the user running the .NET process has change permissions on the folder the skin is in.

Did you upload the skin through FTP, or with the DNN skins page?

And this is the only skin you have this problem with?
Can you change to one of the other default skins?

Are you working on a local machine or a shared hosting environment?
(some hosters limit your rights on certain folders)

If you login as host > skins > Select the skin
    what if you choose [Parse skin Package], does this work without errors?

This is the only skin I'm having the problem with.

I can change to another default skin and it works, but I don't won't to change any of the default skins.

I'm working on a local machine for dev.

I'm not sure what Parse Skin Package does, but I'll try it once I get done with my demo at 1:00 pm
