I am having the issue that when registration is Verified, the email is not arriving to Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail accounts.

The SMTP test send the email with no problems, also in the case of Forgot password it works fine.

The DNS Reverse look up is okays, and SPF records are set for the domain...

Any ideas where could be the issue?

Most likely you need to authenticate with your SMTP server.

The test mail probably works because your Host E-mail address is on the same server, but when you try to send to another server (relay) you need to authenticate first.

Hi, I have a similar problem, but you solution doesn't work in my enviroment. I can sent emails from the test link, but can't retrive emails from Forgott Password page. My configuration is as follow:

I tried to set SMTP authentication (basic and NTLM), it doesn't helps. Reset password also doesn't send an email. What should I do. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

I think I am having exactly the same issue. I can successfully generate a test email, but when user tries to register or authorise a user - no email is received or sent.

To authenticate I assume you simply select SMTP Authentication? I have tried this however no success.

Frustrating - it used to work when I had it hosted elsewhere.

Anyway if you have any suggestions I would be most grateful. I'm using 4.04.01
