I have not had much time for testing, but generally Sychronisation shall work properly in DNN 3.3.6/4.3.6 now. Typical setup depends on the habits how files are added:

  • if files are only added using DNN file manager and modules, no sync should be necessary - you might activate a daily/weekly sync job in scheduler just in case ;)
  • in all other cases, I would use auto sync and maybe additional sync job per night, to make sure that orphaned folders get cleared.

Hi,

This is good information but, it doesn't explain why I get Filesystem errors when trying to delete child portals. I would like to know if this is an issue with DNN, Windows Server or SQL Server.
