Hi,

I want to send a generic html newsletter and I need not to show  the "Dear user_email" default header. Is this possible? (maybe modifying some ascx file?)

Also, is it possible to show a text instead of an email in the "from" field?

Thank you

Fernando

The newsletter module does not show "Dear x y" if you alter the address method in extended settings.

The from address must be an email due to specification of the simple mail transport protocol.

Hi Leupold,

Thank you for the answer. I understand. I have changed the sending method to CCO and tried to send a test message to myself. I see the green icon "OK message sent" but message does not arrive to my mailbox. ¿?

I get the test message as expected if the sending method is TO

What I am doing wrong?

Thank you

Fernando

Hi,

TO works in synchron and async mode. Test mail and Bulk Confirmation mail arrive to my inbox as expected.

CCO doesn't work in both modes (synchron and async). I don't receive the mails (test newsletter and Bulk Confirmation mail)

Thank you

Fernando
