I apologize but I cannot provide a link because it is for my County's Intranet and my supervisors do not want public access.  I'll try to re-explain it ..on the dotnetnuke site solpartmenu up on the top.  When you hover over 'About', the background color doesn't change but when you hover over a submenu item underneath 'About' (lets say 'Project Owner') the background changes to red.  How do you apply this background hover color change only for the submenu items ('Project Owner, etc..') and not the main manu items (Home, About, Community, Development)?

I believe if you review the skinning document available in the documentation portion of this site you will find your answer.  Specifically,

rootmenuitemcssclass

CSS Class used for root menu items

rootmenuitemactivecssclass

CSS Class used for root menu items when they are the active tab

submenuitemactivecssclass

CSS Class used for sub menu items when they are the active tab

rootmenuitemselectedcssclass

CSS Class used for root menu items when they moused-over

submenuitemselectedcssclass

CSS Class used for sub menu items when they moused-over

Spectacular..thanks so much Jon and Solaro!! If anyone else needs to use these extra classes, don't forget to active them in the skin ascx file.  Example:

<dnn:MENU runat="server" id="dnnMENU" rootmenuitembreadcrumbcssclass="MainMenu_RootMenuItemBreadcrumb" submenuitembreadcrumbcssclass="MainMenu_SubMenuItemBreadcrumb" rootmenuitemcssclass="MainMenu_RootMenuItem" rootmenuitemactivecssclass="MainMenu_RootMenuItemActive" submenuitemactivecssclass="MainMenu_SubMenuItemActive" rootmenuitemselectedcssclass="MainMenu_RootMenuItemSelected" submenuitemselectedcssclass="MainMenu_SubMenuItemSelected" />

Thanks again!!!
