Many thanks.... I had actually looked at the solution in the Red Leaf CSS Skin, and it does seem the best I have found so far.

Still, it would be preferable to do this in a more "standard" way without resorting to javascript. The best way, and the most standard, would be the ability to create a separate print media style sheet. If there were some way of putting a reference to this in the head section of the page via skinning, that would be by far the best  solution from my point of view. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Lee, while using js to insert the print stylesheet isn't the most ideal (IMO), this works exactly as I need it to.

Beautiful work, and thanks very much for all the work you do to promote and tutorialize DNN!

hello,

another method I use is to add the print.css directly in the skin.css - if you look in the skin.css code on the DNN Creative site you can see that is how I have implemented it there. eg, in the skin.css add:

/* print media section */
@media print
{

/*
================================
Print styles for DotNetNuke
================================
*/

#logo
{
    display: none;
}

#loginlinks
{
    display: none;
}/* close @media print */
}

Sorry but thats a totally 100% daft solution. as you can set the majority of elements you need to be printed in the print.css doc.
Totally over complicated approach to something really simple.
Whats wrong with a straight foward reference to the stylesheet in the skin?
