Those single quotes need to be double quotes Timo.

A single quote is a comment in VB.

if the portal is a parent portal and dnn is running in the root of a website (so no subdirectory in the url), by far the easiest way to refer to the homepage of the portal is to just do this:

<a href="/">My HomePage</a>
