New Community Website

Ordinarily, you'd be at the right spot, but we've recently launched a brand new community website... For the community, by the community.

Yay... Take Me to the Community!

Welcome to the DNN Community Forums, your preferred source of online community support for all things related to DNN.
In order to participate you must be a registered DNNizen

I've also got a few pieces of information about skinning that might help you in your discovery including a range of free skins to actually view and download. You need to register to get access to them but they are free.  Perhaps the information is not quite as comprehensive as Lee's (not having seen it) but I do have some information that might help you learn more.  There is also the Skinning docs in CHM format with a sample skin which can be used when following the information in the skinning documents.

I do have some more surprises coming up this week with the launch of my brand new site which I hope will also provide some more dynamic learning tools to work with.

Learning is an ongoing process, in fact I'm doing it every day myself still.

I had a look at your site - I felt much of it could be achieved using the NS101 skin on my site that has a fairly large top montage, a good sized menu for easy reading and a simple layout as displayed on your site.

Sometimes it does help to actually open a few of the skins, particularly ones that have a similar layout to what you are trying to achieve, and work from there too.

I hope this helps you in your quest!

*grin*

Either this community is a lot smaller than I thought, or I'm just seeing weird things...Nina's site was the 2nd I hit for tutorial's, and the polyduck site was referred to in my question The polyduck seems to only have lesson one though? I'll be keeping an eye on your site as well Nina, people say you know what you are doing
