Ok, I'm not coming up with the right search terms I guess (because I haven't found anything), but I would like to know how to remove the DNN versioning from the browser window title bar. For instance, right now it says Breakout Media Network > Home ( DNN 4.0.2 ).

How do I remove ( DNN 4.0.2 )?

Thanks for the help!

Click on host/settings and then you'll see a checkbox - show copyright credits - turn that off and it will not display.

Log in as admin, on the home page go to 'settings' for the page, and rename the page title, update and it should be gone.

Chas the settings for this are in the host/settings section - The page title itself is done through the page/settings section.

I think you'll find these are two separate items.

I realize the settings for that in the 'hosts' section, and I do not want to argue that issue.  From the post it looks like Marcus was wanting to remove it from the 'page title.'  I noticed the "browser window title bar" said "Breakout Media Network > Home (Dnn 4.0.2)."
The home page is created and in the site by default.  Any other page that is created will not have the (DNN 4.0.2) in the browser title bar.  I noticed this in my own installs.  After logging in as admin and retyping the page title and updating, the (DNN 4.0.2) on the home page will no longer display.

I have not tried changing the host settings, I will do that on my next install.

Thanks for the info.

Chas
