I don't quite understand what your error is. - If you compare your .htm skin with the DNN-Blue .htm skin you will see that you need to add the [TOKENS] in order for your menu to appear etc. & the 2 vital elements that you have to include (if you don't it will throw an error) is an area for you to add content into the content pane.

- In other words you need:
< td class="contentpane" id="ContentPane" runat="server" valign="top" align="center" > < / td >

- You have to have an element with the id of Content Pane

and also an area for the Control Panel at the top of your page when you are logged in as admin - in other words:

< td id="ControlPanel" runat="server" class="contentpane" valign="top" align="center" >

Does this help?

I removed my tokens to make sure that those were not what was causing the problems.
So, your telling me I need a contentpane and ControlPanel id and class?

yes that's it exactly, basically take the exact structure of the DNN-Blue skin and then just re-arrange your tables and graphics to suit your style.

- a content pane - using a content id
and an area for the control panel

are the 2 essential items.

I have created a series of video tutorials which are available to subscribers which may help you to get started if you are struggling. You can have a look here: skinning video tutorials.

How would I go about doing this again? How does the [icon] object work? How do i tell which container to display what text?

Also, i technically have two types of containers, how can I differentiate between them? I have a distinctively different kind of container for my right pane...

Hello,

ICON is for the icon that you can select either of a page, eg. in the menu -  ie go to Page Settings - or on a container in the Module Title - ie. go to Module Settings

From the Module Settings you can select which Container you wish to display

When creating a container, just make sure that the .htm file that you create has a descriptive name. - When you come to select your container, you can then tell which container you are selecting. - Check the DNN Containers that come with DNN.

Cheers,
