Hi all,

I just started using the repository module.  I have a problem with the background colors.  The skin that I use is rather dark.  Therefore the "normal" style is set to a light font in my skin.  The repository module uses the "normal" style for almost everything.  They also create textboxes and drop downlist boxes with very light backgrounds.  That makes the text on those, set via the normal style and therefore light, almost impossible to read.

What is the best way to change the background of both drop down list boxes and textboxes?

Thanks,

Peter

Look that the html files for the template you're using. A number of them have colors defined in the table layouts.

That said, I believe the backgrounds of textboxes and dropdown lists are defined by your computer but I can't guarantee that.

I already modified the template files (nifty video).  But the textboxes and the drop down list boxes are causing me a headache.  They appear fine with a dark background in all other modules but they are white in most repository related windows.

dit you check the styles with the firebug extension of Firefox? It pretty much shows what styles take precedence. Do you have a link to the site, so we can have a look?

Hi Peter,

I haven't tested with firefox.

You can have a look at www.submergeproductions.com.  It is still a work in progress.

I created a test account for you (testuser pwd:testuser).  Have a look on the Action! page.  You'll notice the problem immediately on the dropdown boxes.

Take care,

Peter
