Sorry, I tested this in my browser, there it worked because it's an invalid value and sees the value as not set. (0)

You could rip the height out with Javascript... or you could use House Menu which uses an unorded list.

One other thing you could try is to set the height to 0px (with CSS)

Not sure how it will react if you add more menuitems...

And as a last option you could add this:

form{

height:0;

}

Since the Form in DNN had a predefined height of 100% too...(causing some skinning problems)

So I found out how to fix it, but I can't figure out how to fix it.  I pulled the site up in Firebug, and I found the code that does it.  According to the spmenu.js file, if the display is vertical, the table height is 100%.  I just removed the 'height="100%"' from the file, and it works fine.  YEAH!  So, it is actually is an IE glitch (as I suspected), it just happens to be code that was unwanted, so it seems the other way around.

Thank you all for your help.

I posted my answer in case anyone esle ever has the same problem.  I'm also going to email the other person who never got an answer.  Width="100%" is there if it is horizontal and I have seen other people with that issue.  Maybe they will find this post and be able to fix it.

I just wanted to clarify my last post, because this is the first time I have read it.  I wrote:

Obviously I did figure out how to fix it, and the second part of that sentence makes no sense.  Removing the "height=100%" or "width=100%" from the spmenu.js file eliminates the problem.  It works as it should in IE and Firefox, and outside of that, I don't know.
