I have a problem regarding the solpart menu in right-to-left pages. The menu works fine in FireFox but it has a problem in IE7 (don,t know about older versions). When I resize the IE window so that the width of the viewport is smaller than the width of the canvas (i.e. when the horizontal scrollbar appears), the menu gets crazy! Submenus popup way far to the left of the main menu item; actually the smaller the width of the viewport the farther the submenu appears to the left of the main menu item. It must be easy for a Jscript junky to fix this bug in the source file of solpart. If anybody has already fixed this please let me know. thanks

Just a FYI, Solpart is depreciated and I would recommend using another menu provider, DNNNav 2 is for instance included in DNN 5.
Others though might be able to help on this thread should you wish to continue using SolPart.

I'm just using a few free skins that have solpart menus; I don't create skins myself. So using another menu will destroy the design of the pages.

BTW the error is there in FireFox too. You can see the bug live here http://www.netnuke.co.il (move the horizontal scroll bar to the right and see submenus displaying away from the main item).

Just firgured out that the problem is there in left-to-right pages too (even in this very page of DNN). I am surprized that nobody has complained from this thing.

Is there a planned point in time that Solpart menu navigation provider will no longer be included with DNN install packages?  I've been using it for the past several years because it's design and behavior and layout were easier as well as having more options.  Have there been upgrades and changes to the DNN Nav in DNN 5 or in recent upgrades that would change my opinion?  And, if Solpart will eventually disappear, then now, while implementing all the other skinning changes for DNN 5, would be a good time to switch navigation providers, too.

Any insights or recommendations regarding this are greatly appreciated.

Rick
