This error doesn't look like a skin problem at all. Since you are working with localhost, I'd suggest reinstall DNN - unless you have a way of troubleshooting the problem.

Did you set your skin as the default skin for all pages throughout the site? Does your skin have a ContentPane?

I've received this error before. When it occured for me was when I had created a new skin with different panes with none being called ContentPane. Since I applied the skin to a page that previously had modules in the ContentPane and my skin did not have a ContentPane the error occured. You may have accidentally did the same. Hope this helps.

You are right. My skin does not have a contentpane. The problem is fixed now. Thanks!

However, the look and feel of the account login does not fit into my website. How can I change the look and feel of the account login? thanks!
