Completely new to DNN...I am ready to learn to skin, and if the DNN 5 direction is the future, then I am thinking that it is the process that I should learn....However, where do I go to find the DEFINITIVE source, beginning to end on DNN 5 skinning? I do not see a whole lot of people actually adapting to the new "rules" yet...is that accurate? Can we expect new documentation soon?

dnn 5 skinning uses the same previous behaviours i.e. a dnn 2-4 skin will work in dnn5. There are some changes, such as the manifest file/packaging which allow you to do additional things such as include custom skin objects or release notes/licence etc., and also theres a new client-side widget framework you can utilise, but these are all optional. Hang on.....So the documentation is not finished yet, but there has been an entire book published already? Are you serious?

With the exception of Shuan I don't think any of the authors are part of the regular DNN core team.
