No matter what I do I am getting the same error when uploading my skin package.  I try to do a preview or apply and same thing.  I have changed attributes in the xml file and even sent it to be parsed without one.  Please help if you can I am getting the error below.

Could Not Load Skin: /Portals/_default//skins/processstyle/processskin.ascx Error: Parser Error: The tag contains duplicate 'ID' attributes.

I have no duplicate ID values that I can see anywhere and have even came up with some pretty funky names so nothing clashes.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

Joe

Can you post the code of your skin here, or check you have the word ContentPane in there as well. It is probably only something small, but nevertheless hugely frustrating.

Hello I am by far a newbie, im not even into skinning yet, still using default skins.  But I saw your post, and had a stupid idea, your /Portals/_default//skins/processstyle/processskin.ascx  has TWO  // 's after your _default dir, dunno if you noticed or not, or if that could even be the problem, just thought i'd share, thanks

Nina/All,

I am not having the EXACT problem this guy is having but I am getting the "../default//skins/.." problem of the two slashes. It seems consistent across any skin I upload. Any idea as to how I can tell the skin parser not to append that second slash?

Thanks in advance,

MR

I was under the impression it didn't matter - and it's not a consistent problem - has this affected your skins from displaying?

Are you working locally or live when this happens?
