I found a webpage speed test site that is very nice to test your web pages @  http://www.uptrends.com

One of the things it showed me was that my site was trying to load an image called dnnanim.gif and the file was not found.  What is dnnanim.gif??  I know it is not part of my skin package. I have also ran a few other DNN sites through the above speed test site and several of them have the same problem.

I also noticed that there are several images being loaded for the edit in place (eip) DNN feature which I always turn off. Is there anyway to stop these images from being loaded?  They are very small files but every little bit helps.

Thanks.

is the image loaded in edit mode only? it might be the upgrade indicator, but I don't have source code at hand atm to verify.

Thanks for reply Sebastian.

No the image is loaded in regular view mode - non-logged in users.  If you check most any DNN site via the Uptrends site I mentioned (I'm sure there are other services like this as well) you will see that most DNN sites have the same "file not found" error with regards to this image file.  I'm thinking the image is being called in the default.css file.  I'm going to load that file, and all others, into Dreamweaver and see if I can find which file is calling the image.

It was in the default.css file under .LabelEditWorkClass

Still don't know what it was for.
