Hello Timo..

I actually was able to get something working properly on all browsers.

First, I changed the ASP:Button to ASP:ImageButton.

Without a ImageUrl listed, it would show a red x over the button.  So I created a transparent image of the same size of the button and assigned the ImageUrl property to this button.  Then I assigned the CssClass for the hover to this button and it works like a charm in IE7/8 and all other browsers.
