Chris, The dnn_ prefix is standaard behavior of DNN, it has been so for a long time. In your css file (skin.css) you can target the content pane with #dnn_ContentPane, or if you'd like, with an adittional class. I realize that the latter is only possible with ascx skinning:

As posted before, the dnn_ has "always" been added to a pane ID in DNN.

In HTML skinning: you can add a css class to the pane by defining the "class" attribute.

Object tags:

    <object id="MyPane" codetype="dotnetnuke/server" codebase="CONTENTPANE">
          <param name="class" value="MyPane" />
    </object>

Or if you use [TOKENS], in the skin.xml file

I seem to have gotten around the the issue of DNN not being able to find my Content Pane.  I removed all id attributes from my layout divs and just set the CSS class.  Now, when i embed a [CONTENTPANE] token - the skin yields a Content Pane.  Why would the Skin parser get so confused by the presence of id attributes?
