Ok,thanks Timo for the info, I should be able to work with that.

Interestingly, when I browse to one of the target pages I created for this it has a URL of:  http://www.myurl.com/Home/Leadership....

Which makes sense because I named the page "Leadership", but I haven't seen DNN use that url structure before.  Did I do something to force it to use a nice simple URL like that instead of the 'tabid/0/....' ugly url that usually comes up?

That's one of the enhancements, not sure for which version..

Looks like 5.4.4 does it the old way and 5.5.0 handles URLs the new way.

Hi Ben.

That's pretty simple, it depends on whether you want to refer to a static pure html page or a "real" page in your dnn-portal.

Put one of the following lines into the acsx-file of your skin.

1) For Example you have a html-file called impressum.html:
">Impressum
This will call the html-file in the given folder, here is it the folder JUNK

2) To refer to a real page:
Call your page from e.g. the admin-pages-menu, remember the tabid and then e.g.:
Impressum
So here is it the page with the tabid 162

That's it.

 Hi Kai,

Can I also say a quick tip for SEO. Be careful of linking to the same piece of content in more than one way, as you can quickly cause duplicate content issues that search engines don't like.

Be as consistent as possible with your internal linking. If you have two versions of the same page and you know which one you would like to show Google, use the rel=canonical tag. More information about the rel="canonical" tag can be found here http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2009/02/specify-your-canonical.html

Cheers,

Chris
