One quick last question - I notice that in IE the menu seems to 'flash' a quick glimpse of the un-styled UL before applying the styles... any idea how to get around this?

No, I have not. This really is one of the main reasons that I stick to using the DNNRadMenu.

Guess I'll have to sit down and spend some time learning DNNRAdMenu... and I had just gotten somewhat comfortable with DNNNav2 :D
