If older versions of the editor - the appearance of markup inside the editor was often rather ugly do to the lack of proper style sheet formatting for the editor block - basically the html editor runs in its own separate iframe window and as such is not directly effected by the skin layout.

The old editor attempted to create a look that was similar to the site by importing the skin.css but in most cases this was not anywhere near a perfect solution - as most sites have a mixture of elements defined in default.css, skin.css, insertyourownskinnamehere.css.

The latest RadEditor provider for dnn gets around all this by taking a different approach - you can now define an editor.css file inside your skin folder and tell the editor to use this for your skin layout.

The new version of the provider only works with DNN600 - but there is a previous version which may be compatible with you dnn5.2.x system that can be found at http://radeditor.codeplex.com/release....  - version 1.0.4 is the last version that may be compatible with your site.

You need to be using the 3rd party radeditor i listed in the previous post for that to work.
And you need to set the css file in its settings module to point to /editor.css - by default it points to editor.css adding the / to the front tells the provider to look for the editor.css file in your skin directory.
