All the other standard modules have one in Edit mode. How come this custom developed one doesn't? DNN 6

do a view source on the webpage and see if the button is there but not visible - your skin/module styles may be causing the button to not appear -it will appear automatically if the module has menu items (e.g. edit etc.)

Manage and the surrounding markup found on other modules is not there. There are menu items that I derive from a database in the control; but I presume you refer to other menu items. Can you point to some example source for a control in a module? I've looked on codeplex, sifted through source. Where is documentation on how to include the Manage button? Is it DDRMenuActions? It's amazing that this topic is so difficult to acquire knowledge sufficient to develop a module.Thank you.

theres actually not much documentation as it's an automatic function - as long as your module exposes actions the list will be built up automatically -prior to 6.0 this would then display as a javascript drop-down list, from dnn6.0 and above it is based on the ddrmenu (hence the ddrmenuactions). The main thing to check is that your module implements IActionable http://adefwebserver.com/dotnetnukehelp/IActionable/
