If that's the complete container, you need to have a div in there with runat= server.

This is the div where the module will be rendered.

Add this:

<div id="ContentPane" runat="server" class="Normal cContentpane"></div>

And see if that helps...?

Unfortunately, the error persists after modifying the code as reflected below:
