Hi,

I need to change the colour of the visited link as the the current colour does not contrast well with the skin we're using. I've done a fair bit of research and the solution seems to be to change the tag in the skin.css file. I've done that but the change doesn't seem to propagate. I've search the whole site for references to 'visited' but there's only the one in skin.css. I've also searched for the ofending colour, but I can't find it anywhere. I've tried flushing the DNN cache and reloading the webpage, as well as flushing all cached data in another browser. I've even restarted the web server but it always keeps the old colour.

I can change the colour locally using FireBug and the element is pointing to the following URL: https://dnn.apsim.info/DependencyHandler.axd/4034e8a892b7e690ac6bf173e4d9b5b5.39.css

This is the code shown by FireBug:

Any ideas how I can get this change to actaully work?

You are using minification but forgot to increment the version of your minimized files. I would turn that feature off during development.

Thanks for the reply Mariette,

I've trtied disabling minification for .js and .css on both the host and the site and still no luck. I disabled the options, updated, incremented the version, cleared the cache and restarted the application and it's still using the old colour code.

Do you have evidence, at the browser, that the minification is now off? What does Firebug now show as the source of the css.

Best wishes,

Can you post a link to the site, or is it not online?
