I didn't know that is not overwritten in future upgrades. Thanks Timo. So, if there was a change from the corp on how analytics is implemented, how is it reconciled with the custom file?

AFAIK, you have to copy the file in the /Config folder to the portal manually.
This prevents any custom settings for a portal from being overwritten
Files in Portal folder should never be overwritten on upgrade as there are not portal folders in the upgrade package.

Hey guys, excellent feedback!!!! Thank you so much! I understand much more about DNN with your replies.

Now, I think this is something related to the 7.3.4 version since I recently created two more sites with this version and after updating the google analytics section on Host I got the same problem. I fixed this by manually updating the google analytics config file with the tracking code for each site.

How can I let know about this to the development team for the DNN open source version?

Guys, the Google Analytics section doesn't work like in previous version. Every time I add the Google Analytics code it gives me this error. I noticed that right after I save the changes in the Google Analytics section it saves the code but in a wrong way since it converts the script brackets at the beginning to it's HTML code. I've to manually get in the file and correct the problem. How do I notify the development group in order to include this in any future version from DNN platform.
