Hi, I have tried to find any similar issues, so I do apologise if this question has been posted before, but I could not find it.

We upgraded a site to 7.04, and where using the Gravity skin that is deployed as part of the default package of DNN since a while back.

After upgrade, 'a' skin is loading, but not the css, or bootstrap, just the basic elements.. 
First I thought it was something wrong with the new skin files.. so I replaced the gravity skin folder with an older one.
Same issue.

Then I thought it was the file permissions, but they have not changed, and are inherited from the site root.
Even tried to reset the permissions, with no change.

Since the site is almost not-functional without the elements, it is hard to do any changes in site (ex. change skin) etc..
But.. I tried to execute the "reset to default skin" that is a fail-safe in DNN to use the site´s default DNN skin.
No change.

So.. I am wondering if I missed something in the version upgrades.. in regards to other components ?

Anyone care to touch base on this ?

Use fiddler to spy on the traffic between the browser and the server. You want to know if the browser is even requesting the files. If it is why do the requests fail.

Like Chris suggested just typing the full path to a CSS file in the browser address bar may tell you all you need to know.

That's good - it suggests that the site is doing what it should. What URL does the browser request? What result does it get from requesting it? You can find these out from your browser tools looking at the network tab.
