I know DNN is not creating arbitrary standards. Above the known ASP.NET, .NET security checks, there might be some specific DNN checks. Yeah developers can go through OWASP's checklist but that might not be enough. Not sure what the big issue is for having a good security checklist that every DNN vendor can follow and feel they are following good DNN practices. It relieves future headaches for everywhere.
