Dear Itsolis

You've indeed set a menuseperator that you can find in a map images of your skin directory.
<img src="/Portals/_default/Skins/BSNdigital/images/break.gif" align="top" border="0">

But you've also set display:none; in your .css style for the same separator.
.MainMenu_MenuBreak {DISPLAY: none}
If you wish a seperator then you've to set a style for your separator.

What confuse me also in this and in other threads of setting up the menu is: that only a few people says wich menu they are using and which version of dnn is installed. Is it the DNNMenu, Is it the SOLPARTMENU in version 3.x or in version 4.x... They are all different.

I see in your code that you run 4.x and that the following styles are set:
  CSSMenuArrow="MainMenu_MenuArrow"
  CSSMenuBreak="MainMenu_MenuBreak"
  CSSMenuContainer="MainMenu_MenuContainer"
  CSSMenuBar="MainMenu_MenuBar"
  CSSSubMenu="submenu"
  CSSMenuIcon="MainMenu_MenuIcon"
  CSSMenuItem="MainMenu_MenuItem"
  CSSMenuItemSel="MainMenu_MenuItemSel"
  CSSRootMenuArw="MainMenu_RootMenuArrow"
These are the styles which are normally set if you don't set a style... John has did this so that a menu can work with normal possibilities.

First... The dnn version is important.
Second... For the solpartmenu read the Dotnetnuke Skinning documentation
Third... For the SolpartmenunavigationProvider and the DNNMenuNavigationProvider read the Dotnetnuke Navigation WebControls documentation.
Hope this will help.

Dear gvborre

Thanks for your help.  The css style for the menubreak was the problem.  I guess it was lost in all the other sytles and I so I just kept overlooking that.  I did some shuffling around of the stylesheet and that one got lost, and after all that, that simple line was the problem.

I do understand your last points about the different menus and the dnn version.  I will make note of them for any future posts.

Thanks for all your help again.
