Hi all

Any body know how to use the ajax timer in a dotnetnuke module. I've got a report module that I would like to refresh after a pre-determined period

Do you have ideas to activate ajax manually in a ascx control with updatepanel controls and without the checkbox in module settings?

You can use a ScriptManagerProxy control or set it as described here: DotNetNuke ASP.NET AJAX Web Service

Thanks for the reply Tango.

I also found that if you just drop a timer onto your control and set the refresh in the timer_tick event it works fine. I should have tried the simple stuff first
