ok, I understand now - this is not related to the previous development discussion. in the future please create a separate thread in the correct forum.

for now: If a user is in a role and the role has been granted view permission for a page, the page shall be included in the menu he gets displayed, if:

  • "include in menu" is enabled in page settings
  • in page settings "display from is" empty or in the past and "display until" is empty or in the future
  • role assignment is active (from/to)

Since this is already here - I'll run it through and will figure out how to start a new thread.

We are on 4.5.3 there isn't "include in menu" and there is no display from or display until in page settings.  There is 'start date' and 'end date'  both of which are empty.  It appears if 'All User' role is selected.

Sorry for being not precise, i dont have the settings page in front of me. StartDate and EndDate are correct, in your version "Include in Menu" is called "hidden" and shall be unchecked.

AFAIR there was an issue with the "all Users" in DNN 4.5.0-4.5.3, I suggest tu use registered and unauthenticated users instead or upgrade to DNN 4.5.5
